Sodium Gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid, produced by fermentation of glucose. It is a white to tan, granular to fine, crystalline powder that is very soluble in water. As a multifunctional food additive (E576), it serves as a powerful chelating agent, sequestrant, stabilizer, and flavour modulator. Non-toxic, non-corrosive, and readily biodegradable, it is a clean-label solution for improving taste, texture, and shelf life across a wide range of food products.
